Terms & Policies
To reserve a space on one of our expeditions, there are several ways. You may select a book now or reserve now button on the website and we will be in touch. You may call, email, or snail mail us too!
We require a deposit of $1000 to hold your space on a trip. The balance will be due 60 days prior to the start date of your trip. We have flexible payment plans available to meet your needs, call to arrange. We have limited space on each trip, so it is highly recommended to sign up early!
The deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations 60 days prior to the start date will be refunded minus the deposit, 30-60 days prior, 50% refund. Less than 30 days, no refund is available. Please contact us immediately if you have to cancel, we make exceptions, we understand, things happen. We highly recommend travel insurance for all trips!
While we all hope for sunny, blue skies every day when were out in the field, uncooperative weather can and does happen. This may delay your ability to fly in and out of the field on time. You may find yourself in town, or in camp a bit longer than expected. Bring a book, a good attitude, and remember were on an adventure! Give yourself a little extra time scheduled in for weather delays. You are responsible for all accommodations and meals, ticket rescheduling fees, or other expenses due to weather delays. We will definitely do our best to help you find accommodations, restaurants, contact airlines, anything we can do to help. Extra days in the field are complementary.
Don’t leave home without it! Insurance is mandatory for all of our Kamchatka trips. It probably should be for all of our Alaska trips, as well. We are happy to announce a partnership with Global Rescue to provide rescue and travel insurance for our guests. They are familiar with our trips and can get you set up with exactly what you need.
